Fetal Heart Monitor Tutorial Animation - External fetal monitor (EFM) is attached to ultrasound and tocodynamometer. The ultrasound monitors the baby's heart rate. The tocodynamometer transducer measures uternine contractions. The tutorial covers fetal tracing, frequency, duration and baseline uterine tone. It defines hyperstimulation (tachysystole), tetanic contraction, and use of pitocin.
